St. Anne School is offering a summer program for students entering kindergarten through 6th grade. This year’s five-week program will begin June 10 and end July 12.
The academic program will review and emphasize basic skill development in language arts, math, and science. This summer program is intended to enrich as well as support skills students have been or will be working on in school. A variety of activities and approaches to learning will be used to keep the learning exciting.
Our theme this year is “Travelling Around the World”. The students will be studying many amazing close and far away Countries around the world. Many of the classroom activities, readings, and projects will involve stories, information, and facts about those areas of interest. The students will be taking a few local field trips to expand each child’s experiences.
Applications due May 31, 2019. It has been our experience that classes do fill up quickly so it is recommended that in order to ensure a space in the program, you should return the application as soon as possible.

This coming Sunday and the following week will be a very busy and fun time for all students, staff, and families here at St. Anne School. Catholic schools across the United States will be celebrating the outstanding contributions Catholic school graduates have made to our country and the world this coming week as we all celebrate “Catholic Schools’ Week.”
Why have your children go to a Catholic school? Facts can answer that question… High standards, technology enhanced curriculum, balanced academic curriculum that integrates faith, culture, and life, respect of self and others, 99% high school graduation rate and 85% of those students go on to college. These are just a few of the proven statistics supporting a Catholic school education.
I am asking ALL OUR FAMILIES, Catholic AND non-Catholic, to join us this Sunday at our 10:30 Mass to begin our week’s celebration honoring our fabulous teachers, staff, students, and parents…past and present!
Next week each day will have a theme:
Monday: Service Day and students come in free dress on Monday.
Tuesday: Hawaiian Day…students come dressed in Hawaiian attire.
Wednesday: Grandparents’ Day…students come in regular uniform.
Thursday: Pajama Day…that’s right, students come dressed in their pajamas. Family Groups will be meeting and playing a game together.
Friday is a student holiday…Archdiocesan Teacher In-Service Day

November 27, 2017 – St. Anne proudly celebrates the completion of the St. Anne Seismic Retrofit Project. Spearheaded by Principal Thomas White and Father Daniel Nascimento, the project’s primary objective is to help keep our children safe in the event of an earthquake. Joining them in the blessing of our newly retrofitted school are Bishop Walsh, Pastor Father Dan, Father Peter, Sisters of the Presentation – Sister Patricia Anne Cloherty, SAPTO Parent President Chair – Beverly Perea, St. Anne Teacher of over 45 years – Patricia Meek, Superintendent of Catholic Schools for Archdiocese – Pam Lyons, Vice Principal – Barbara Creedon, Office Manager and Administrator – Jackie Finnegan, Student Body President Jake Truong, and past St. Anne Pastor and current Vicar for Clergy – Father Ray Reyes.
Funded by past and current members of the St. Anne community, St. Anne School now complies with current earthquake code. In addition to structural reinforcements and other improvements, the school installed a powered lift and ramps for wheelchair access, allowing St. Anne to better serve the needs of its community. The updated facility feels lighter, brighter, and safer than ever. A deep appreciation and gratitude to Mr. White, Father Dan, and to everyone in St. Anne’s community who helped make this a reality.
