Third grade students gain insights about their state and local communities, which helps them make connections to the larger world. Students are introduced to people and events that give them a sense of living in past, present, and future worlds. They use geography skills and concepts to find places on maps and globes. Taught by homeroom teacher
Focus of program is on Physical, Life, and Earth science. Activities will revolve around Habitats, Plants, Mammals, and culminate in group projects on the Solar System.

Computer
Students participate in a scheduled hour of computer activities each week. They gain experience with lab computers and using laptop computers in the classroom. Activities are designed to help students gain basic skills in their curriculum areas and develop their keyboarding skills.
