Maintain continuous aerobic activity for a specific time
Recognize the fundamentals strategies in simple games

5th Grade
Student Expectations:
Manipulate objects with accuracy and speed.
Be involved in game-like activities, with emphasis on more than two skills
Use of strategies in simple games.
Equipment used:
Basketball, volleyballs, soccer balls, hockey, footballs, foam noodles for games and music for movement.
6th Grade
Students Expectations:
Able to throw or strike variety of objects for both accuracy and distance. (i.e. baseball, football, volleyball).
Able to play small group games that involve cooperating with others, and learning basic concepts of strategies in keeping objects away from opponents.
Learn basic CPR
Learning advanced jump rope activities.
Equipment used:
Basketball, volleyballs, soccer balls, hockey sticks, footballs, and music.
7th & 8th Grade
Student expectations:
Participate in vigorous activities for long periods of time
Accept and respect the decisions made by game officials, whether they are students, teachers, or officials outside the school.
Able to take risks and be a problem solver.
To respect others and themselves during swing dancing lessons.
CPR training.
