The instructor in the tutorial is using a pc. When he says right click, the Mac equivalent is to hold down control and then click.
I think it is easier to save your Wordle as a pdf then do the screen capture. To save your wordle, click the print button. Agree that you want to print. In the print dialogue box, find pdf, create pdf file. Give your project a name and save it. Once you have saved it, you can insert it into a Word document or play with it in Kid Pix. You will need to choose print again if you are really printing your project. If you're printing, please don't use a colored background.
45 Ideas for using Wordle Here's a resource for how teachers have used this website in their classrooms. Note that there are occasionallly inappropriate Wordles created and posted in the Gallery. I have not blocked the gallery, however, because I think it also gives ideas for what can be done. You can search for teachers or classroom and Wordle and find other ideas.
Choose Discovery Streaming video. Search for Language Arts related videos or video segments in the search box at the top of the page. You can watch it online or download it to watch later. If you want to download a video, make sure that you choose QuickTime from the download type. Then you can click the film icon with the arrow to download the video. It will be in your downloads folder.

Kidspiration is loaded on the downstairs computers. It can be used in a variety of ways. If you look at these websites and think that you would be interested in using it with your class, let me know.
Inspiration is the version for the uppper grades, similar but more sophisticated. It is loaded on most of the upstairs computers. I can load Kidspiration on the upstairs computers as well if teachers feel it would be helpful.
